PBOT stands for Pedagang Besar Obat Tradisional, referring to a legally established company authorized to procure, store, and distribute traditional medicines or herbal raw materials in large quantities, in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This includes items such as simplisia (raw plant materials), plant extracts, and other herbal ingredients used in the production of traditional medicines.To operate legally in Indonesia, a PBOT license from the Ministry of Health is required.
